Country Design Keeping #5
Today is country design keeping #5, a collection of musing and sneak peek into projects.
Country Design Keeping
A collection of future plans, things you or I might have missed…reader projects, musing, mishaps, and general stuff.
Today I have a sweet reader project to share. I adore my reader’s projects! They make me kick up my boots! 🙂
Also, a five-second display put together at the Holiday Craft Workshop. Yes, totally fifteen seconds and it was done!
Plus some future projects that I hope turn out as great as my imagination see them. 😕
A 15-second display
This is my 15-second display. I grabbed white pumpkins that are actually going to get painted next Thursday. I’m hosting a pumpkin painting webinar on Big Marker on the 22nd. You can read more at Big Marker. I stopped at the grocery on my way to the Holiday Craft Workshop to grab white flowers. The frame I use for our printables. The paper banner was hanging on the craft cabinet that was at the workshop.
The workshop started at 9 am. I was still setting up at 9:15. Eek!
The second hand is ticking
The vase I grabbed at the thrift workshop. Bottled water poured in flowers cut and tossed in. Drill bits were gathered in the tool department and added. Frame stood up behind the flowers. Books from the shelves added in front. Pumpkins placed. Paper banner draped…go!
Whew!
I want to thank everyone that came out. You inspired me!!
Reader Project
A wonderful creative reader, Carol, shared this picture of a ladder made from old barn wood.
Then Carol made this ladder using the tea and ironed vinegar technique and new wood. Carol beat the heck out of it with all kinds of her husband’s tools! I adore these photos! Thank you, Carol, for sharing your creativity…and beating skills! 🙂
Sneak Peak
Here’s a sneak peek at my Fall Vignette for a Home for Fall Tour. It’s perfectly rusty! Now you can see the finished Fall Vignette here.
Future projects
This is a project for the Humane Society of Central Arizona I plan to have completed by November 1st. It will be a therapist booth that transforms into a kissing booth. I’m excited to make this fun project. Update: I finished the project! You can see it here.
I will be sharing the inside of my little workshop on LIVE video on Sunday at 2 pm. Arizona time on Periscope. You can comment and ask questions live!
