Farmhouse DIY gifts & 100’s under $20!
I make a gift for Mike each year. Usually, it’s something small and easy to create. Although, it’s easy to “hide in plain sight” with Mike. One year, I made a table style desk one year and hid the top behind one door and legs in the broom closet. When he went to work, I pulled the pieces out. Then tucked them away before he returned.
I would tell you what I’m making this year…but Mike just might read this!
I will, however, share ideas for easy & creative homemade gifts for you to give. Plus, I collected over 100 farmhouse style gifts on Amazon all $20 or under! My clicking thumb hurts!

DIY Gifts to Make
This farmhouse tray is super easy if you don’t add the shiplap plank look. I used a router to add the look of shiplap. But the tray would be just as awesome painted and distressed. Then add handles and you’re done!
The kids and grandkids can lend a hand rolling the clay for this beaded garland.
Got any chunky spindles laying around? Turn them into farmhouse candle holders. If your spindles are not as fat make that chunky as these, add a square of wood on the ends for balance. We only use battery candles for safety around our home. Notice the “chunky” candles? Those are basic candles from Walmart with added melted candle wax. Another idea for a gift!
If you don’t have spindles, do you have a board laying around? This kitchen box was created with one board.
