Shabby Book Covers

Do you like decorating with books but not destroy books?

Here’s a fun easy DIY project with books.  We will not remove a page, rip off the cover or even fold pages.

I used paperback books but can be done using any books.  Even vintage books.  But then why would we cover vintage books?

Below is a Periscope on making shabby book covers.

My books were covers with burlap, twine, and soft colors.  This would fit any style or color.  This idea in blue and white would be stunning in a blue and white room!

You can see my woodblock book ends here.

I’ve added a book to the mix I made on the video.  Can you guess which one?

Update, I’ve added another live video on Facebook showing the steps to make the shabby books.
