Junk in the Trunk
Junk in the Trunk event was held in Scottsdale, Arizona on Saturday April 27.
Same day is our Hometalk Meetup!
Had I known about Junk in the Trunk before planning the downtown Glendale lunch and vintage shopping…well we still had a great time.
Since my friend Donna and I drove to the valley the morning of our event, we took the opportunity to stop at Junk in the Trunk briefly before our lunch.
The excitement started at the entrance sign…
and continued through every booth.
Inspiration was everywhere, at every turn we made. It was almost too much to take in.
Burlap and mattress ticking still excite me. Chandeliers, mason jars, chalkboards, chippy paint, rusty springs, galvanized pails, old doors, vintage suitcases, barn wood, farmhouse tables, ironstone, enameled wares, and classic toys.
Plus the prices were great! The music played by Kip Fox was perfect for the event.
So…next Hometalk Meetup AZ will be at the next Junk in the Trunk on November 9th. Mark your calendars!
Simply leave a comment and I’ll add you to the Hometalk list.

Just saw this! Thanks for posting and can’t wait to meet you November 9th!
Coley, so anxious for the next junk in the trunk and to meet you as well. I am a blogger at Hometalk which is a website for bloggers, professionals, and homeowners to post and ask questions. I love it because anyone can join and post pictures of their projects without having a website. I plan on a Hometalk meetup in Scottsdale on November 9 inviting Hometalk bloggers. I will be sending save the date during the first week of September. You can check out Hometalk at http://hometalk.com. See you in November!
I’m loving it all… I really am! The new website design… new name…. new projects! I’M LOVING IT ALL!! 🙂
Heather, thanks so much! Still have some tweaking to do but it’s getting there.
I’m crazy for that pile of chairs. Love the creativity in the photos!

Liz, isn’t that pile of chairs incredible? It was displayed as we were walking into the event. Knew we were in for amazing creativity.
