If you’re a pumpkin everything kind of gal….you will love this!

I can eat {and drink} pumpkin any time of the year.  I will make pumpkin muffins with honey and cinnamon butter in the spring.  To me, pumpkin is not a seasonal food…

…and it’s good for you!

Now let’s make it bad for you😀

Please take a moment and read the lettering on the box.  “Handle carefully.”  The box came that way, but please handle the pumpkin martini carefully…you wouldn’t want to spill one delicious drop! 😀

Grab a martini glass and a saucer.  The toy truck is optional.

The prep

In the saucer place a spoonful of sugar and sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top and mix.  I like to use a packet of Sugar in the Raw.  I like the chunkiness of the sugar.

Now, prepare the martini glass by rimming the edge with water or a bit of RumChata, then roll the glass edge in the cinnamon and sugar.

What is RumChata?

RumChata is a rum with a rice milk base.  If you love rice pudding or rice milk you will L~O~V~E this drink.  If you don’t make it for a friend who does…they will be your friend forever!

The Steps

In a martini shaker add ice, 1 part vanilla vodka, 2 parts RumChata, 2 tbsp. from a can of 100% pumpkin, a dash of allspice, and grated nutmeg.  I like it sweet…so I dump in the sugar and cinnamon left in the saucer.

A toy dump truck is not necessary for the recipe, I just thought the shaker looked cute in the back of the truck. 🙂

Shake and pour into your prepared glass.

Add a cinnamon stick and drink up!

Just don’t do like I do and lick and bottom of the glass…

…use a spoon!

The list

Here’s the list of ingredients and instructions without the pictures.

You can highlight and print if you wish.

1-ounce RumChata
2 ounces Vanilla Vodka
Sugar {I like Sugar in the Raw}
Dash of cinnamon
Pinch of allspice
Dash of nutmeg
2 tbsp. from a can of 100% pumpkin
1 cinnamon stick

To make first prepare martini glass, rim edge with water. Pour a package of sugar in the raw on a small dish and sprinkle with cinnamon. Roll glass edge in cinnamon and sugar. In a shaker add ice, 1 part vanilla vodka, 2 parts Rum Chata, 2 tbsp. pumpkin, a dash of allspice, a dash of grated nutmeg, and the leftover cinnamon and sugar in the raw. Shake, pour into your prepared glass and add a cinnamon stick. YUM!

I think tofu should be a seasonal food.
