364 days of the year!

Valentine’s Day is simply another day for us.

We don’t spend money on gifts.  We may go out to eat…because we’re hungry.  We may go to the movies…because there is a movie we want to see.

But otherwise February 14th is simply another day.

Red Inked HeartSo this post is for you…and coffee lovers…and those that bought one of those k cup coffee makers and still have a cabinet full of coffee filters!

So, here’s the steps I took for this red coffee filter heart.  Grab a box of filters.  You will need a whole box!

You will also need a red ink bottle.  One of those that you reink ink pads.  A piece of cardboard that you cut into a heart shape.  My was about 16 inches by 16 inches.

I found it was quicker to ink the edges of the coffee filters when they were still stacked together.  I did about 20 at a time.

Red Inked Heart-5I went around the edges first.

It is protected by the front porch.

I’m just glad to get rid of another box of coffee filters! 🙂
