Michaels and Hometalk Pinterest Event

It is real!

I was asked to be a host of the Michaels and Hometalk Pinterest Event in Scottsdale, AZ on February 16th between 1 and 4 pm. The scoop, Michaels has given over 100 DIY Hometalk bloggers across the US and Canada a list of projects to make their own.  Then we will be at specific Michaels stores on the 16th to help you, our readers and Micheals customers craft their own projects.

Don’t just pin it, make it your own!

A chance to craft with other crafters and get tips from DIY bloggers right in your neighborhood Michaels store.  Plus team up with Hometalk, the largest home and garden social network.

I went to my Michaels store yesterday and grabbed some crafting supplies to go along with my project.

My plan is to not only show my project and how I did it, but also share techniques that you can bring to your future projects.  Below is the list of techniques I used and will share with you.

1.  Painting with chalkboard paint.
