Thrift Shop Project
Especially the thrift shops that benefit sheltered animals.
It’s a blast to spend an lazy afternoon strolling through the aisles and wondering what is it? And, what can I make with it?
So I decided a fun way to share my love of thrift shops with you would be to start a monthly Thrift Shop Project series. I will shop a local thrift shop and find something easy and creative to share.
Here is want I created with my latest thrift shop finds. That would be the glass items in the photo, not the vintage tools.
But wouldn’t it be awesome to find those in a thrift shop?
Could happen…so we will keep looking, okay?
Anyway, back to those glass vases and I think drinking glasses. Oh, and a canning jar.
I paid $1.50 for the five. Thought they would make unique “frames.”
I cleaned them up and inserted some favorite black and white family pictures and display them on our mantel with some vintage tools.
Well that was easy!
Notice I didn’t use the wine glass. I couldn’t easily find a photo that fit as well as…wine!
Gotta go find a piece of chocolate, so leave a comment below and let me know what you think of the Thrift Shop Project series so far.

Love this! I’m always trying to find a way to justify the stuff I buy while thrifting 🙂
Cute, inexpensive and easy=perfect!
