Sunset Jazz and Wine Auction Humane Society Event

Our Humane Society held their fund raising event and celebration of one year in their new building last Friday night, a Sunset Jazz and Wine Auction.

The event was held at the stunning Falcon Crest Bed and Breakfast in Payson.

I have the wonderful opportunity to be on the Kindred Spirits Committee, a group of women that plan and organize events for the Humane Society.

Since I’m always building something or decorating anything, I’m on the decorating side of things.  The event was a wine auction, so our group started collecting wine glasses.  One hundred and fifty wine glasses!  Many were donated by the Mazatzal Hotel & Casino.  The wine glass and charm were favors for the guests.

We made the charms with collected beads from old necklaces and leftover beads from other projects.  Silver disks were stamped with names of shelter animals and a paw print cutout, were added to each charm.

Falcon Crest has a pool table and poker table downstairs.  So donation jars are ready to take to the event.  {one is filled with napkins stamped with paw prints}

The raffle prizes were awesome, spa packages, season ticket to Diamondback games, and my personal favorite a frame print of a painting done by Ruby the elephant.

The delicious food was prepared by Finery Events.   Incredible displays!  Yum!

Phenomenal displays!  Who knew carrots could look so stunning??
