Here’s to a new year!

Today I celebrate not only the end of a year but my sisters {yep, plural they are twins} birthday.

They think they’re extra special because the whole world celebrates their birthday!

They are pretty special!  Don’t tell them I said so.

I’m making drinks for the new year and to celebrate my sisters.

First drink is for the kiddos.  Those twins gave me a bunch of nephews and nieces!

Making milk fun with “mouth mixing chocolate milk!”

You will need a bottle of hot fudge, like what you heat and pour over ice cream.  Some chocolate sprinkles and milk.  Heat the fudge a little and add a dollop on a small plate.  Roll the top edge of the glass in the hot fudge to cover completely.  Then quickly roll in a small bowl of chocolate sprinkles.  Add the milk.  Mix in your mouth as you drink.  Caution, this will cause giggles and a big possibility of spills.

But that’s okay!

Here’s my recipe for those amazing chocolate chip cookies in the picture above.

Next a pretty sparkling punch.

You will need a 2-liter bottle of 7up, one can of frozen cranberry concentrate, and a bottle of Martinelli’s sparkling cider.  Then simply mix together in a punch bowl or beverage dispenser.

This can be made for the adults too by replacing the sparkling cider for your favorite sparkling wine.

Yum!

Raise a glass with me to celebrate the end of a creative year and the beginning of an outlandish creative and connective year.

Do you celebrate the end of the year or the beginning of a new year?
