Falling Leaves Decor

Sharing helps others too!

I love autumn best of all.  Here in Arizona, we don’t have falling leaves.  Cactus don’t have leaves!!!  So, I create falling leaves decor.

I’m rushing in the next season and I hope the weather follows suit.

Have you started decorating for fall? I know…I’m totally early !!

I start decorating for spring about 2 weeks after it starts.  For summer it’s too hot and decorating is minuscule.  Fall and winter the decorating starts full force.

So hold onto your hat and let’s get busy.

Do you dare to hot glue silk leaves to your glass door? I did this early fall decor with the leaves in the bottom of the fall decor crate. Country Design Style www.countrydesignstyle.com

If this first step looks familiar that’s because it sorta is. 😕

I first did this a couple of years ago with a small packet of dollar store leaves.  This time I used different type, colors and sizes of leaves.

I like this more.  Don’t you?

I put this post in the cleaning category too.  I start off the video showing how I quickly clean windows and mirrors.  Yes I do windows!

And there was the year I got the not so bright idea to use real leaves that fell from our maple tree.  Don’t try this one.  The leaves dried more and started to crumble.  After a couple of weeks, we had brown dots on the door.

I took this picture at night.  I don’t know how to get a good picture of our front door.  The glass is very reflective.  Notice little Bella is watching.

Oh, and here’s the door from the inside.  We enjoy seeing the colors of the falling leaves decor from inside too.

This would be fun on windows or sliding doors too.  Just make sure the leaves are on the outsides of the sliding doors. Otherwise, the leaves would fall between the glass when open.

Not that I’ve ever done that with decorations!!  😕

Let me know if you try this one.
